My Answers to the Shoes Meme

Here goes:

Are sandals (of all sorts, flip-flops, too) modest? If not, why? – Generally, I would say yes, unless they are designed to be very “strappy” or sexy on purpose. Do men really oogle toe cleavage? I haven’t figured this out. I love my sandals in the summer!

If you show your toes…do you feel the need to paint them? Why? – No toe painting. Long ago and far away, I had them shellacked year-round…now it has been about two years since I seriously kept them painted. Jeff prefers me without.

Heels…Do you risk your health and safety for fashion? – Well, after seeing what a lifetime of high-heels did to my grandmother’s feet, I resolved to put comfort ahead of fashion. I own three pairs of sensible heels that come out for work or very special occasions.

How many pairs of shoes do you currently own? – 18 pairs, including flip-flops and boots.

How many pairs of shoes could you possibly reduce down to? – My dream is to have less than 10. It could happen…I also dream of the Perfect Pair of Brown Shoes to go with my cape dresses. They are comfortable, neat, and last a long time. Where are you, PPBS??

Does your husband complain about said number of shoes? – Yes…because my shoes inhabit his closet. 😀
