Life Happens

Yet again, I over-promised and under-delivered. Last week was, well, to put it mildly, rough. Dad was out of town almost the entire time and husband works full-time and my mother lacks a voice…so….

I got to run the errands, answer the phone, run errands, make sure people are fed and have clean underwear. Then took the dog to the vet on Friday because she had a cough. This turned into multiple tests to conclude that the poor dog has the equivalent to congestive heart failure and pneumonia. Shiloh is Mom’s Dog which made it extremely difficult to come home and tell her the bad news that the little terrier could drop dead tomorrow or live another year. God only knows. The vet was not painting a rosy picture.

The darling cat decided to have her cyclical nighttime psychosis on Sunday night. Humans MUST NOT sleep. NO SLEEPING. Meow Meow Meow. The solution to this is to keep her awake the following day and she goes back to not bothering us for a while. Again, God only knows why this must be. Kitty Alzheimer’s.

Blogging. Yeah…#27 on to do list…but I will get there.

No guilt here… Just hang in there… sometimes just making it through the day is an accomplishment! 🙂

Oh I feel your pain too. This week has been rough. Mom in law had chest pains so we took her to ER, she is fine thank you Lord. Today our car broke in the next county and I had to ask the store clerk if I could use her cellphone because we don’t have one. We got home safe and sound but it’s been a week to behold. I wish the tribulation train would take a break lol!

I hope things are getting better for you!

"I can't say I don't believe in your God, but I don't believe He meant the world to be as it is." ~Nicholas Higgins. North and South.

"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you are licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what." No idea where that last quote came from, but I like it!
