Where did Anna go?

She got a social life, thats where. 🙂 Don’t know if I have said this before, but since moving to Virginia 6 weeks ago, we have had 15x the amount of [positive] socialization than we had in Oklahoma. Church, Miss Maggie, knitters group (once or twice a month), a monthly adult Aspie social group (haven’t been yet, but planning on it), friends of parents, neighbors, an upcoming WAPF extravaganza potluck. Networking like mad.

Add to all the above, caring for household of 5 [highly unorganized and messy] adults and an invalid mother. Yeah. I am busy. Today is laundry for parents. Already swept/mopped dinning area. Dinner tonight. Tomorrow is laundry for us. Sister is self-sufficient with her food and laundry, yay. I should clean out the fridge this week before the mutating leftovers stage a coup of the kitchen.

Speaking of mother, she started a new therapy last week. Its like chemo, but on an infusion pump which is administered for a week on, then two weeks off. She started reacting badly yesterday with a fever and lots of chest congestion. The pump comes out today, that is the good news. She still needs some medical attention for the scary chest congestion. Pray she gets what she needs.

Jeff is continuing to apply and do freelance computer repair. Would be nice for him to get an actual interview.

Whoa, our third wedding anniversary is on Wednesday! I feel old. Happy, but old.

Busy is good! What blessings! I feel like moving to a new city was a chance for my social life to blossom, too.

"I can't say I don't believe in your God, but I don't believe He meant the world to be as it is." ~Nicholas Higgins. North and South.

"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you are licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what." No idea where that last quote came from, but I like it!
