30 Lessons from 30 Years on Earth, #5

Number 5: Pray with your husband and/or willing family members or roommates or neighbors every day.

Jeff and I pray in the morning before going to work or starting our daily activities and again at night before bed. We started before our wedding. 🙂 Its hard going to sleep upset with thy spouse when you know you have to pray together.

That’s so nice! Who would you pray with if you don’t live with Christians, though… ? :S The saints?

One of the things that I wish my parents had done with us is prayer– other than Before Meals, we didn’t pray together. One day I hope to pray with my husband!

Quotes

"I can't say I don't believe in your God, but I don't believe He meant the world to be as it is." ~Nicholas Higgins. North and South.

"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you are licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what." No idea where that last quote came from, but I like it!
