Landed in Virginia

We are here!

Arrived in the gorgeous Roanoke valley on Sunday evening. The drive was uneventful and the weather was clear the entire way. Dad had two guys waiting to off-load our truck into the garage.

We are SO happy to be living in this area. Everything is conveniently located; people are friendly. Jeff is off looking for work and applying online. The fact that there are open positions for which he is qualified is a comforting thing.

I met up with Miss Maggie last night. She was a real gem, so much fun! We have a standing girlfriend night on Tuesday evenings at a local coffee shop. πŸ™‚

I need to get off this puter and let Jeff apply for jobs. I will keep you better posted once the dust, literally, settles.

"I can't say I don't believe in your God, but I don't believe He meant the world to be as it is." ~Nicholas Higgins. North and South.

"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you are licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what." No idea where that last quote came from, but I like it!
