Unveiling The Healthy Aspie

I am pleased to announce my secret project: The Healthy Aspie! This will be a new blog, part of the Real Food Media network of bloggers. What will I be writing? I am taking all my health-related journeys and sharing them with parents of autistic children and also encouraging adult autistics to better care for themselves and the Earth. Since I am joining a network, I can participate in giveaways of wonderful healthy food products and services. I will cross post here when I have a contest coming up.

Veiled Glory is not going away. I view this new blog as a business venture and an encapsulation of all my Autism and Health related interests. As you might know, we will be moving in late May or June to Virginia. This is my giant leap into the realm of Constructive Unemployment, or otherwise being a good wife and daughter to my family. A little extra income from blogging will be my “egg money” and debt payment fund. Veiled Glory will continue as my catch-all for modest clothing, headcovering, knitting, sewing, homemaking, cute cat pictures, etc.  In fact, I hope to be posting better content here now that I have “multiplied” the blog.

Head on over to the Healthy Aspie and make my Google Analytics report spike! 🙂 Hugs, Anna.

Congratulations! Your new pro-blog looks great, and I hope you make lots of money off of it.

I’ve been delving into learning about raw milk lately and wondering how to take things to the next level on the healthy eating.

I’ll start by not buying corn chips this week. Sigh. (one of my last few remaining food vices.)

    Anna,
I posted a comment (much longer than I intended) over at your new blog! I’m so excited about it… 🙂

    Peace be with you!

Your new blog looks great but have you given up on Habit Formed? The last entry there was Dec 18.

I think your site looks great. I just wanted to inform you of a great book that I recently read titled, “Nourishing Hope for Autism” by Julie Matthews. It is an incredible reference for figuring out which diet is for your child, understanding supplements, improving your child’s environment and understanding body systems in simple language.

Hi Anna, I have been reading your blog for a while.

Where in Virginia will you be moving to? I live in Chesterfield County, outside of Richmond, which is why I ask.

Good luck with your new blog.

Quotes

"I can't say I don't believe in your God, but I don't believe He meant the world to be as it is." ~Nicholas Higgins. North and South.

"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you are licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what." No idea where that last quote came from, but I like it!
