Safe from the Storm

We were safe from the tornadoes which touched down about 45 70 miles east of us last night. I sat in my snug brick & concrete library while the storm blew through our town. Several people died in Lone Grove, near Ardmore, OK. Lord have mercy.

The weather men are buzzing about the early-ness of the storm seasons, creeping up every year. Soon there will be tornado threats at any given moment. No respite for “winter.” Two weeks ago, we had ice and snow. Then 70’s F. Then tornadoes. Rinse, rebuild, repeat.

Glad you all are safe. Lord, have mercy on the souls of the departed.

We are getting those winds here in KY today, but they are slower than the forecast predicted.

Prais God you are safe! I live in Missouri and we had a tornado touch down about 8 blocks from us.

"I can't say I don't believe in your God, but I don't believe He meant the world to be as it is." ~Nicholas Higgins. North and South.

"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you are licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what." No idea where that last quote came from, but I like it!
