Our Lord Provides!

[What is with WORDPRESS lately? I write a post and then it is gone when I hit publish. ARRGHH. Re-typing…]

Back to work this morning, trying not to grumble over it. The streets are no where near safely passable. County public schools are still all closed. I pray for the students coming to class. Last year a student died in an auto accident on the way to the University because they insisted on opening before it was safe. Jeff drove me today (he needed the manly challenge.)

So I check my e-mail and see that the employees are receiving a merit stipend early next month! We were not expecting any sort of raise this year because of reduced enrollment. Hallelujah! The amount will be enough to pay for a moving van (or a POD), gasoline, and a nice hotel room mid-trip to Virginia. I called Jeff and told him, “God provided our ticket out of Oklahoma!”

Praise God. I’ve found when something really needs to happen, the Lord will make a way. Good luck as you are getting ready for your move.

It is wonderful how the Lord provides what we need (not always what we want though). I had trouble with WP posts this weekend too.

"I can't say I don't believe in your God, but I don't believe He meant the world to be as it is." ~Nicholas Higgins. North and South.

"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you are licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what." No idea where that last quote came from, but I like it!
