Multiple Intelligences

…or, I Should Have Been A Farmer

You can take the simple test here.

We had to take this online test for a workshop last week. The librarians all compared their results beforehand. Most of them were high on linguistic and visual-spatial. Everyone was surprised to see mine. [The website gives you a color pie chart; I had to scan this from a plain paper copy.] They had no idea I was so strongly oriented towards Creation and Moving Around. I am curious if Thoreau or Muir might have a similar chart.

Interesting! Mine tied for Musical and Intrapersonal (not too surprising), followed by Kinaesthetic and Visual/Spatial. My lowest was Interpersonal!

Haha, my chart is pretty much the opposite of yours, Anna. My highest was Logical, with Interpersonal and Intrapersonal tied for second place. I did abysmally at Naturalistic and Visual/Spatial. No suprises here: I am a computer programmer, a bonified city kid, and have no sense of direction. Cool link.

Quotes

"I can't say I don't believe in your God, but I don't believe He meant the world to be as it is." ~Nicholas Higgins. North and South.

"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you are licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what." No idea where that last quote came from, but I like it!
