Book Candyland

One of the perks of working at this library is being able to request books for the collection. When they arrive, I can check them out for four months! Lately the powers that are have decided to let the InterLibrary Loan person select book requests to actually purchase instead of borrow. Oh happy day!

Today I received Eat Fat, Lose Fat and The Politically Incorrect Guide to English and American Literature.

On que is Small is Still Beautiful and Small is Still Beautiful: Economics as if Families Mattered.

What shall I request next? Have any suggestions for our Collection Improvement?

Quotes

"I can't say I don't believe in your God, but I don't believe He meant the world to be as it is." ~Nicholas Higgins. North and South.

"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you are licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what." No idea where that last quote came from, but I like it!
