Monday Sprinkles

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!! We went to the parade in Oklahoma City on Saturday. I was suitably impressed with the size and scope. There were three Irish Step Dancing groups, a pipe band, two Harley motorcycle clubs, lots of horses, and even llamas wearing green hats. Who knew that three American Indian tribes would profess Irish Pride? Only in Oklahoma… Anyways, I got sunburn(!) on my forehead and nose, drank half a mug of micro-brew ale, and bought a book. It was a successful day on the town. 😉

Here is what I have ‘on-tap’ for this week:

  • A new series for ladies just starting to cover or interesting in covering. I will answer practical questions (posed by Geri, Rachel and others recently) and help you all understand my current philosophy of covering and modesty.
  • A “Get-Nekkid” series  revealing how drastically unorganized and messy my apartment has been. See before and after photos of various parts of my wreckage. You’ll wonder how anyone who claims the future title of homemaker would live under such conditions! 😛
  • Some more random thoughts from last week’s feisty posts.

I work today and tomorrow, then I have three days off for Spring Break! Watch out, apartment, I will get thee clean.

"I can't say I don't believe in your God, but I don't believe He meant the world to be as it is." ~Nicholas Higgins. North and South.

"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you are licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what." No idea where that last quote came from, but I like it!
