The Perfect Shawl

Thanks to WordPress upgrading our upload max to 3 GB, I will be more generous with my picture sharing. 🙂

This is what I call The Perfect Shawl. It is made out of Woolease Sportweight yarn, though the pattern calls for DK weight, it still worked out ok on size 7 needles. Very light, yet warm, and it hugs my shoulders without slipping!

Here is my smiling face.

And the back…

This is a super-duper easy pattern, it only involves knit stitches and yarn overs!

This shawl is going to a friend and I’m working on a second one in cream colored yarn for myself.

Where did you get the pattern for that lovely shawl? It is so beautiful! Great that it doesnt keep slipping off too. I am knitting as we speak (sort of, taking short break to read your newest post) 🙂
I have only been knitting for a month, and still learning, I think I like crochet better and can do it with out thinking much. I am still trying to get better at knitting too. I have to, for lovely patterns like the one you are modeling here.

"I can't say I don't believe in your God, but I don't believe He meant the world to be as it is." ~Nicholas Higgins. North and South.

"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you are licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what." No idea where that last quote came from, but I like it!
