Weekend Blogging Break

Final exam time is fast approaching on Monday evening for my Economics class! This weekend I will be studying and reviewing the last month’s worth of materials in preparation. Mt. Washmore is threatening to swallow me whole every time I walk past the overflowing laundry hamper. My husband and I have not had more than a couple of hours of awake time together each day since….I can’t remember! I will return to Veiled Glory blogging on Tuesday. 🙂

In the meantime, please read the following article Cara Michele has so graciously brought to my attention. My next posting will be in response to it and try to answer her questions regarding pants and Biblical interpretation. Have a great weekend!

Oh yeah…I have read most of the posts on the actseighteen site. It’s by some ex member of the UPC church and he found fault with every single one of thier teachings…after awhile I couldn’t stand to read anymore. He contradicted every thing and it made me wonder if he just was using that as an excuse to go back to the world’s ways…
    Talk to ya Tuesday!

Quotes

"I can't say I don't believe in your God, but I don't believe He meant the world to be as it is." ~Nicholas Higgins. North and South.

"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you are licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what." No idea where that last quote came from, but I like it!
