Goodwill Finds

We got a tax refund in the mail this week and guess what we did with it? Went shopping for clothing at my favorite place, Goodwill!

Jeff needs some shorts but the selection was slim to none. I, on the other hand, found the following:

My dear Contessa curled up on the skirt and blouse while I was hunting for the camera. Cute as always! The skirt is a lightweight cotton peasant style. I like long-sleeved thin blouses, ones where I can roll up the sleeves while at work or cooking. I wear a tank top underneath.

A lovely peasant blouse. The embroidery around the sleeves is darling!

Here is a close-up of my apron entry with the pockets. To answer Susan’s question, I forgot if this is a Daisy Kingdom print. I think not since the print is just a direct copy of Beatrix Potter’s artwork.

"I can't say I don't believe in your God, but I don't believe He meant the world to be as it is." ~Nicholas Higgins. North and South.

"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you are licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what." No idea where that last quote came from, but I like it!
