Welcome to Veiled Glory!

Greetings dear ladies (and gentlemen) in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I am so very excited to launch this blog and website properly. I hope to make this a little community, a resting place for headcovering and modestly dressing ladies from around the world.

Indeed, over the last 7 years or so, I’ve followed the rapid growth of women who have come together through the internet to learn from each other’s experiences about this largely discarded spiritual practice. The Lord has used this medium to fuel the spark in many souls have felt after reading Scripture or seeing another covered woman or any of the multitude of ways the Holy Spirit uses to convict us of truth.

Let me outline the broad boundaries of this blog and the site as a whole:

  • All ladies are welcome to comment, though spamming or trolling will not be acceptable.
  • Feel free to ask questions of me or of the commenters. I will try to answer within a week on the blog, if appropriate. I will not post last names to protect privacy.
  • Please include your state or country when commenting. That way we can have a feel of where in God’s good earth you are logging in from.
  • Here are the subject areas (though these may morph at any time!): headcovering, modesty, homemaking, homeschooling, workplace issues, social acceptance of HC, sewing and other crafts, husband/wife relations in regards to HC and modesty, HC in the news.
  • Theological discussion will be limited to the subject areas above. Again, this is a non-sectarian site, so please be kind and respectful.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

"I can't say I don't believe in your God, but I don't believe He meant the world to be as it is." ~Nicholas Higgins. North and South.

"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you are licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what." No idea where that last quote came from, but I like it!
