We’re Going to the Convention!

::::UPDATE-Saturday:::: The laptop got left at home so I am catching up on the hotel public computer real quick. There were some victories, lots of confusing motions, and lots to sort out in terms of the fall-out from the Oklahoma convention. Let me tell you, that it was incredibly raucus and chaotic. I’ll let those who know better give official commentary. We ordered pizza in and are spending the evening recovering.

We thought that we couldn’t attend, but now we can…go to the State Republican Convention! Yeeehaw! Some friends are letting us crash in their hotel suite for two nights this weekend. I’m undecided as to whether to live-blog the event because laptops might be taboo in the convention area. And I have to lug around the thing. If you don’t hear from me until Monday….you’ll know why. ;)

Quotes

"I can't say I don't believe in your God, but I don't believe He meant the world to be as it is." ~Nicholas Higgins. North and South.

"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you are licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what." No idea where that last quote came from, but I like it!
