New to Me: Links on Sunday

Its been quiet around these parts lately…on the blog that is. :) We’ve been resting and doing ministry/church related things this weekend. Speaking of church, I met Chris at church today (of Chris and Noel – let’s do coffee!) when she came up to me to admire my purple headscarf. She guessed correctly that it came from Tznius.com! Sounds like we are starting off on the right foot. Look forward to getting to know you better…

Prayer request: For myself…everything with family, marriage, health is great but there is a new self-realization(?) going on behind the scenes that is of a serious nature. [No, its not a pregnancy ;) ] I don’t want to give it out yet, because I may require professional advice first to pinpoint this thing. I promise to keep you all in the loop!

Here are a couple few posts from this last week that are excellent reads:

[I added more...:)]

Quotes

"I can't say I don't believe in your God, but I don't believe He meant the world to be as it is." ~Nicholas Higgins. North and South.

"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you are licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what." No idea where that last quote came from, but I like it!
